I was reading a story about April 1st...An Atheist was suing the state of  Florida because the Christians have all these Holy Days they celebrate, but he didn't have one and wanted one.  The judge declared, "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." Psalm 14:1. The judge declared April Fool's Day the Atheist holiday.....It gives me a new perspective on the day.

There are many people who say there is no God, and who know there is a God but do not have God in their lives.  How do they do it?  How do they live day by day?  How do they go through the up's and down's of life without the Savior, without the King of kings and Lord of lords?  I stopped and prayed for the many people around me that don't know my Jesus.

Time is short.  Get the Word out.  Tell people today that there is a Savior. There is a Balm in Gilead. There is a Great Physician. There is a Comforter. There is a Friend that sticketh closer than a brother. There is a Way-maker, Healer, Peace-giver, Path-lighter.  Are you getting it?  HE IS ALL WE NEED!!!  He is the Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End....PRAISE THE LORD!

That is my thought for the day.  God is good and God is Right.

My verse for the next 2 weeks is:

Exodus 14:14 (KJV)
"The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace."

I'm using the King James Version, but I looked it up in The Message and here is what it says:

"God will fight the battle for you.
And you? You keep your mouths shut!"

Simply said??

"The LORD bless you, and keep you:
The LORD make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace."

Please post your prayer requests...We have prayer warriors!!!

  1. I sure agree with Pam's post. How can people go through one day without the Lord? He is my everything and has done soooooooo much for me. He for sure is the GREAT PHYSICIAN, he has healed me twice.

Please be in prayer for Missionary John Gray and his family, his precious wife Mary passed away this week from cancer. Also, be in prayer for Michael (16 yrs. old) with cancer, Bonnie Bryan, a pastor's wife, fighting cancer and there are so many more.

Ladies, let's for sure be in prayer for out lost family and friends.

Here is my verse, "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail theee, nor forsake thee." Deut. 31:6 KJV

    Have a great day,

  2. I too agree with Pam and Debbie. My heart breaks for my family members and friendswho will not accept what Christ did for us on the cross. My verse is:
"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation."
    Isaiah 12:2 KJV

As I read this I thought "my song" and I started singing "Oh What a Savior Oh Hallelujah!"
